Attorneys, notaries, and witnesses needed as volunteers for this event!

Wills for Heroes is a free program brought to the community by the Young Lawyers Division of the New Jersey State Bar Association. Wills for Heroes offers free wills, financial power of attorney documents, and living wills to New Jersey’s first responders, veterans, active military members and their spouses/partners. While experience in will drafting is a plus, it is not required for an attorney to volunteer as training will be provided prior to the start of the program. .

• The program will begin at 12 p.m. on September 11, 2019.
• Attorneys are requested to arrive at 11:30 a.m. for training on the topic and the use of the software for drafting the documents.
• NJ and NY CLE will be provided. Notaries and witnesses are requested to arrive at 11:30 a.m.
• The event will conclude at approximately 3:00 p.m.
