Effective Statehouse Advocacy

Whether you are catching a minute with a legislator while walking down the hallway or having a formal meeting with clients in tow, communicating effectively with a decisionmaker is key. The issues we talk about aren’t fit for 15-second sound bytes.


The first hour of the event explores the perspectives of those who are in positions of power and influence in Trenton on effective communication and how to be persuasive. The second hour opens the floor for legislators to talk about what’s on the horizon in the statehouse in this year, when all of the seats are in play. The town hall wraps up with an ethics overview of the obligations of attorneys and lobbyists.
