Pursuant to the January 7th Court Notice, virtual civil jury trials resumed statewide on April 5th. And, pursuant to the April 9th Court Notice, resumption of in person jury trials has been delayed to June 15. More and more civil cases are being given trial dates and trials have been proceeding in larger numbers. Sweeping changes have been implemented to deal with jury selection and case presentation in the virtual world. To address some of the new concerns in our new normal, NJICLE has assembled a stellar panel of speakers from the Bench and Bar. Together, they will address the current climate involving pre-trial considerations, jury selection and the resumption of jury trials in New Jersey.
Gain an understanding and appreciation of the many concerns involving the return of civil jury trials and reexamine your trial practices in the new normal.Make plans to join us for this lively discussion.
