The New Jersey State Bar Association’s Nominating Committee tapped Kimberly A. Yonta to be the organization's next secretary.
The selection means Yonta, who is a trustee, is on track to become president of the state’s leading group for lawyers, judges and legal professionals in 2020.
The committee also tapped over two dozen members for leadership positions. The slate includes a handful of new selections to the association’s governing body, the board of trustees.
The selections were announced following the committee’s extensive interviews and deliberations late last month. In addition to the slate of candidates, under the bylaws current President-Elect Miles S. Winder III automatically becomes president, and current President Paris P.
