State Bar President to Help Swear in New Attorneys in Trenton

NEW BRUNSWICK – New Jersey State Bar Association President Paris P. Eliades will take part in a ceremony this week to swear in new lawyers.

The New Jersey Supreme Court and the state’s Federal District Court co-host the ceremony in the Patriots' Theater at the Trenton War Memorial on Tuesday, Dec. 2 at 9:30 a.m.


Chief Justice Stuart Rabner will make opening remarks and then Eliades will move the admission of the new attorneys to the Bar of the State of New Jersey. Eliades will also address the assembled dignitaries, new lawyers and their families, along with Justice Faustino J. Fernandez-Vina, Melville D. Miller Jr., of Legal Services of New Jersey, and Wayne J. Positan, the state delegate to the American Bar Association.

The association will co-host a reception for the newly admitted attorneys following the ceremony.
