Trenton – New Jersey State Bar Association President Ralph J. Lamparello will take part tomorrow in a ceremony to swear-in hundreds of new lawyers.
The New Jersey Supreme Court and the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey are co-hosting the ceremony at the Trenton War Memorial on Dec. 3 at 9:30 a.m.
Chief Justice Stuart Rabner will make opening remarks and Lamparello will move the admission of the new attorneys to the Bar of the State of New Jersey. Lamparello will also address the assembled dignitaries, new lawyers and their families.
Chief Federal Court Judge Jerome B. Simandle will accept a similar motion to the Bar of the U. S. District Court for the District of New Jersey from Mark S. Olinsky, second vice president of the Association of the Federal Bar of the State of New Jersey.
New Jersey Supreme Court Justice Anne M. Patterson will offer remarks. Wayne J. Positan, state delegate to the American Bar Association, and Melville D. Miller, president of Legal Services of New Jersey, will also speak.
The NJSBA and federal bar association, along with the Rutgers Law Schools in Newark and Camden, will host a reception of the newly admitted attorneys following the ceremony.
