We have planned two exciting tours and a golf tournament at the Family Law Retreat to ensure you’ve got plenty of options for Thursday’s free time!

Whether you’re an adventure seeker or prefer a relaxing afternoon, we’ve got you covered! Seats are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis, so please register as soon as possible!


 
    
Kayak Tour

Thursday, March 23

Experience the adventure of a lifetime in a desert oasis as you take a guided kayak tour through Salt River. Spend your afternoon paddling along green riverbanks, and marvel at towering red cliffs. Don't forget to look for wild horses, bald eagles, and other desert wildlife along the way. Avoid crowds and take advantage of all the natural beauty the river has to offer. Enjoy a swim in the cool waters, and see the desert as you've never seen it before. This unique experience is perfect for all skill levels. 
   
Clothing: Comfortable, weather appropriate athletic clothing – shorts and a t-shirt, bathing suit, on cooler mornings long sleeves are advised. We recommend bringing a dry change of clothes for after your rafting trip.
Water shoes/Sandals/Old Sneakers: These must stay on your feet at all times – sport sandals only please. Flip flops or bare feet are not allowed.
Miscellaneous: Sunscreen, sunglasses, camera, lip balm, medications, hat

Jeep Tour

Enjoy a guided Sonoran Desert Jeep Tour sightseeing the scenic and rigorous off-road trails of the Tonto National Forest stretched out around you in full-color panoramic views. Trek through spectacular trails overseeing the historic Great Western Trail leading to the Verde River, where you might catch a glimpse of roaming wild horses. You may even encounter a coyote, rattlesnake, or a javelina! Your professional off-road Jeep tour guide has extensive knowledge about the Sonoran Desert flora and fauna you will see, as well as vast knowledge of Native American and Arizona history to add color and background to the stunning landscape.
   
WHAT TO WEAR
Closed-toe shoes are required for when you venture out on foot at designated stopping points.

Health restrictions: Off-road Jeep tours are rough, bumpy rides through rigorous terrain and are not suitable for guests with back problems, neck problems, motion sickness, pregnancy, major medical conditions, or any other health condition that can be aggravated by a bumpy ride through rough terrain.
