The longtime editor of the New Jersey Family Lawyer will receive this year’s Saul Tischler Award in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the practice of family law.
Chuck Vuotto, managing partner of Tonneman, Vuotto, Enis & White, LLC, will receive the honor from the New Jersey State Bar Association’s Family Law Section on April 19 in Florham Park.
The award recognizes his contributions to advancing the development of family law and to the legal profession.
“Chuck epitomizes dedication to the improvement of family, to the collective benefit of our entire legal community…. He understands the importance of building a solid foundation for excellence in family and has nurtured many others to help them do the same,” said Amanda Trigg, chair of the association’s Family Law Section.
Vuotto said he is both blessed and humbled to be this year’s recipient.
“I am extremely blessed to be honored with receiving the Saul Tischler Award and humbled to now stand with the 30 prior highly esteemed recipients of this great recognition by the New Jersey family law bench and bar,” he said.
Vuotto is a certified matrimonial law attorney, has served as the chair of the association’s Family Law Section and is a fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. He represented the state bar association on the Supreme Court’s Ad Hoc Committee on the Arbitration of Family Matters, which culminated in significant changes to the New Jersey Rules of Court. He has also lectured extensively on family law issues in the legal community and the field of accounting.
