From the moment the Cannabis Regulatory, Enforcement Assistance, and Marketplace Modernization Act ("CREAMMA") was signed into law on February 22nd, many have been looking forward to establishing cannabis businesses in New Jersey.
Among its other provisions, CREAMMA provides the framework for the licensing procedure required for those looking to become involved in the highly-anticipated recreational cannabis industry in this state. There are six classes of licenses available plus opportunities for "microbusinesses" and within "impact zones."
In this lunch-hour seminar, we will review the new law as it applies to licensing, including the spaces left by CREAMMA for regulation by the recently established Cannabis Regulatory Commission.
